Large low-tech training. First 25 minutes walk from simple variants, ramping up the challenge with arm movements, the whole body will glow. PJ keeps us on our toes and heels, by adding new moves and combinations, all the while her radiant smile and giving encouragement. This part of the DVD is a short workout in itself, or you can enhance the benefits of Pilates with the 20 minutes working with Moira that follows. Both segments are classroom style, with a handful of people to work. Only complaint would be that everyone in a similar fitness level, that is bad. No heavy role models here. These athletes have obviously lost their weight before stepping into the studio! Rating: 5 / 5

This very enjoyable training run clocks in at about 35 minutes. PJ says: we went a little over two miles, and that seems right in comparison to other walking workouts I own (ie, Leslie.) It leads three others and signals very well, all the while talking mostly about health related stuff . I found her – personable and friendly without being too talkative. After about 30 minutes walk, heel digs, kicks, knee lifts and hamstring curls, we slow down for about five minutes, then hit the floor for a traditional 20-minute Pilates routine (roll downs, the one hundred, etc.) The music is low-key and jazzy, this is an interesting change of pace from the faster dancey music I’m used to. . . but it works and it’s very nice! All-in-all, I enjoy hiking with PJ and the gang! Rating: 5 / 5
