I found this book invaluable in understanding how the body absorbs and uses of vitamins, minerals, and herbal supplements. It is an important tool for designing your own health program. The reference gives you information about how the body uses these elements in the daily building fabric. AWESOME book. I’m buying books, CDs, videos since amazon. com was first on-line. . . and this is the 1st time I felt compelled to write a review. I own a copy of Earl Mindell’s Vitamin Bible, but I was looking for more. I take about one days 9 vitamins & this book answered all my questions and then some. I keep it at work and use it almost daily. I love the way you find everything quickly. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a lot of info. in one place. Rating: 5 / 5

I recently borrowed this book from the library. It is stock full of information, vitamins, minerals, herbs, symptoms, a little bit of everything. I especially liked the full explanation of vitamins and their attributes. The only thing bad about this book is that it is not up to date with all the new herbs on the market or new diseases and disorders. Rating: 3 / 5
