Search engine terms: why do Nature Made Multi vitamins have so little calcium,

If you have a multi-vitamin (mine is from the same manufacturer), this supplement has too much vitamin D. Vitamin D is cheap to produce, so most multi-vitamin supplements contain 100% or more of the daily requirement. Many “enriched” foods, like milk, bread, etc., contain added vitamin D. Vitamin D is not soluble in water, so the case with vitamins A and E, it is possible to take too much. I’m not sure about the consequences of taking too many D (I’m not an expert, and is only repeating hearsay). If you a daily multi-vitamin to take, you may want to do a little research before ordering this calcium plus vitamin D product. If you are not a multi-vitamin to take, this product is a good choice for your needs for calcium. Rating: 2 / 5

Why would anyone buy a bottle of vitamins without knowing the exact amount of each vitamin it contains? Is this a marketing ploy on their part for people to buy and hope for the best? No way would I buy this. Rating: 1 / 5

The previous reviewer should have done his / her research for punching in. The supplement is fine. In fact, I take a vitamin D supplement in addition to these products. Yes, it is possible to take too much vitamin D, but the body can much more easily tolerated than the 100 IU with each capsule. Taking two times daily mean intakes s. only 600 IU “Increased Vitamin D (and calcium) intake may reduce the incidence of colon, prostate and other cancers. If you’re bedridden, elderly and do not get much sunlight, you should increase your intake of vitamin D. If your dark skin, ditto. People with dark skin, in fact, be advised that an intake of 1000 to 2000 IU may be beneficial. It is estimated that African-Americans would probably reduce their incidence of cancer by up to 30 percent on such a regime, all other things gelijk.Mijn internist told me that I had the lowest serum calcium and vitamin D levels that they had ever seen in one person, even in an older person, and advised me to immediately on a calcium supplement. I had a slight limp in one leg, one weakness of the hip-bone connection – I have not told the doctor. I realized it was probably due to bone loss. After one years on this supplement, along with an increased intake of dairy products (which I used almost none of my visit to the doctor) and a daily supplement liver oil capsules (400 IU an extra ’s D), my limp disappeared after several months .
