Do not waste your money. I have this product for about 5 years. I have the GPS receiver was replaced. I batteries after each use or fourth stop in the middle of the piste. He stops in the forest preserve. He stops in the middle of a city. He stops in the open country of Kansas. He stops in the middle of almost every run I take. I run at least three marathons a year and drops the GPS on at least two. Find something else. I am forced to the one star who does not deserve. Rating: 1 / 5

I’ve always Timex watches, so my decision to watch this to get on Suunto and Garmin was not a difficult choice. Unfortunately, I am less than impressed. The watch itself is fine, but I do not like the Indiglo because it is not very clear. There is plenty of data that can be analyzed, but there’s just something about the system that is not good. The GPS device is fastidious and not always connected to me. The data recorder is small enough fun, but it is a pain to the GPS, watch first, and data recorder, and then click Run. There is a better way. The data recorder is a great disappointment when connecting to my PC. The cable is early 90s as a computer instead of USB cable that plugs into the recorder. I have the USB connector and squeeze the cable recorder with both hands to hold until it connects and downloads information. It sometimes takes several attempts and often I have to start again when the recorder breaks mid download. The software is not very impressive either. I hate to say. . . No sorry to say, do not buy this item. You are warned. Rating: 1 / 5

The watch and the device independent data. This leads to the times on the watch and the data collection device based on differant when starting and stopping each device. It would be nice if I could get both units in synch. The software gives you a lot of information, but can be more flexible and intuitive Able. I am finding the best way to manipulate the data is copied to XL. The heart monitor may appear to be widely inaccurate. Sun has demonstrated from time to time my heart rate spiking to 240 beats per minute, which obviously goed.Het not seem that I am negative about this product, but I’m really happy with it. Except for the occasional inaccurate heart rate readings, the data is large. I’ve noticed that the speed and distance numbers are very accurate. And mostly I’m glad I bought. Rating: 3 / 5

First, it completely taken my training to a whole new level. I am a middle distance runner now training for a half marathon. After using the speed and distance and heart rate many times, I started very familiar with where my heart should be enough if I go the distance left to go. And the opportunity to see my pace in real-time pushes me to make sure that I * just * enough left, and not a little more. I have been dramatic improvements in speed geweest. In terms of the actual product and features, I would rate this as very good. The speed and distance GPS unit is extremely accurate. It takes a little longer than I would like (about one minutes) to lock on the satellites, but that’s not really a problem, only a minor annoyance. Even once, I fell just after my run. I stopped the chrono, but I walked away, then started again when I started walking. Suddenly, however, I did 2 ‘55 ‘miles. Needless to say that something was wrong. I stopped and started the chrono a few times, but got similar readings. It was not until I stopped and restarted the GPS 45 minutes (and an alleged 15 miles) later that my pace began to read something realistic. that’s only once gebeurd.De heart rate monitor works great. I have a few lectures Spikey (240 bpm to 0bpm back to 240bpm) the first time I used the right at the beginning. I suspect that had more to do with the fact that I am still adjusting it on my chest because I had never used one before and wasn’t ‘not quite comfortably. Unlike that first time , though they are extremely accurate and lectures is invaluable in helping me to keep myself at a pace that my body can ondersteunen.De data recorder has worked flawlessly, except that it is a bit annoying that the data recorder and the chrono on hold must be individually started and stopped. At first this kind of burden from me, but have used it for one months, I realize it makes little difference whether the data on the recorder for a run during three seconds longer or less than what my watch read. For training purposes, this made no difference to mij.Het worst of the whole package is the Timex Trainer software. I suspect that in HR-S & D and data over of a training run, there is much that I could learn about where my body starts to fatigue, how quickly that happens, and how that point changes if my condition improves, etc. etc. I say that I “suspect” because there is no way I will ever be able to find using the training software. The graph it produces an individual run is tiny to begin with and can not be adjusted. The scale can not change. After all I am not really interested in knowing much about what happens in the heart rate zone 0-160, as I never walk in that area. I would like to be able to HRM scale set to 165-185 and the speed zone… well I’m not saying
For only by so doing, the small differences in heart rate during a run seems big enough to see with clarity. I suspect that the only way I be able to use such data is by exporting to Excel. I did that, but am not handy enough with the kind of information I really need in the way I want zien.In a nutshell, I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to get a grip what their body is able, and to also improve. It works great and I am planning on keeping me up when I run the actual half-marathon in April.
