How refreshing, in today’s world of muti-tasking and more stimulation, to hear a call to set the focus on a single point. This book is a great introduction to the ancient practice of mindfulness. The method may be useful for everyone, but Gina Biegel has applied to the situation, concerns and stressors that today’s teens experience. Rating: 4 / 5

  2. Lee A. O'Neal Says:

As a mindfulness-based psychotherapist working with adolescents and their families, I think this workbook as an invaluable tool for teaching attention to my customers. This workbook is useful in conjunction with a structured MBSR class, and can also be used alone. It encourages a healthy dialogue and self-reflection and I recommend it highly to anyone working with the adolescent population. Rating: 5 / 5

  3. Brian Cooper Says:

This is truly a great workbook to everyone, especially teenagers, because the language, activities and insights are open and real. As a teacher I can imagine that my students deeply from these techniques reduce stress, and self-reflection opportunities. Indeed it reaches across age groups, I find it a very useful practice for myself. Highly recommended. Rating: 5 / 5

I already have a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry therapist for several years. I found this book by Gina Biegel very useful when working with children and youth. This book is written in a format that can relate to children and young people and not talk down to them. It is written in a way that speaks directly to children and young people without using words they do not understand. I think it’s helping business very well laid out and easy for children and youth to understand and implement. There are so many children and young people dealing with stress and this book gives them a roadmap to various coping options. This book will be a great tool in my practice. Rating: 5 / 5

  5. Steven F. Lynch Says:

Workbook Gina Biegel is phenomenal. There are 37 detailed exercises in the book to help their teens to reduce stress levels by becoming aware of the cause of them. This book can be used for a wide range of age groups and is structured in a way that builds on each activity if it continues. I would highly recommend using this book if you are a teacher, therapist, or a professional who works with adolescents. Rating: 5 / 5
