Let me first say I am one of Martha Stewart’s biggest fans! I enjoyed MSL magazine for years and loved the format of the “old” to show (the new is taking some getting used to). I jumped at Body and Soul when it first came out, but are repeatedly disappointed with the obvious exclusion of something “masculine” in the articles. And not to forget the articles on relationships and love have NEVER called same-sex partners and that I totally unacceptable, inexcusable, and just plain stupid from a marketing perspective. Why exclude men and gay men? I also noticed there are no ads from advertisers in the marketing of men do not. Most if not all items are nothing more than “New Age” pablum, or “borrowed” or stolen from magazines such as alternative medicine much better. Do not waste your time or money on this. This is not even good enough for my cat litter box line. Rating: 1 / 5

Body and Soul is a great publication that focuses on both our physical and spiritual issues. It is not as “woo-woo” the average reader is disabled, but offers a good, solid advice on surviving our stressful day to day life. Rating: 5 / 5

This is not health magazine you would expect from Martha Stewart – it was extremely heavy on advertising (45% on my rough count), and really messy, and not just “good”. The recipes are interesting, if you can find them under the aromatherapy and skin hydration ads. Rating: 2 / 5
